Sore or in pain? Read about my first encounter with body SDS

Do you sometimes get a sore neck, shoulders or pain elsewhere? Do you need more energy during the day? Then take a look at this. I was lucky enough to have my first body SDS treatment at BodyCheck in Copenhagen. When I come into the clinic I met Jeespeer Dalgaard, who is the are body SDS therapist and owner of the clinic. Right from the start I knew that I was in the right hands. Jeespeer is really good at listening and asking questions, which makes me feel really safe. This means just as much to me as the treatment itself, especially because it’s my first time.

Jeespeer says he rarely does the same treatments. They depend on what people suffer from and how many sessions are needed. Therefore, the treatments also varies from time to time. Sometimes he combines for example body SDS with LifeWave patches to reduce inflammation, etc.

I have a sore neck and my right knee is very irritated, possibly permanently injured. I don’t really know what to do about it so I don’t say much about it to start with – perhaps because I’m a little curious about what Jeespeer will find. He finds the sore areas during the treatment – ouch. I was very surprised because he hit everywhere so accurately.

“DURING THE FIRST TREATMENT, I EXAMINE HER TO SEE IF SHE HAS ANY PAIN OR SYMPTOMS THAT I SHOULD BE AWARE OF. I ALREADY KNOW WHERE I SHOULD EXPECT TO FIND SOMETHING – IN OTHER PARTS OF THE BODY THAT ARE CONNECTED THE REASON IS THAT BODY THE HAS SOME RELATIONSHIPS THAT I KNOW ABOUT IN ADVANCE. IN ADDITION SCANNING THE BODY I EXAMINE IT QUICKLY TO SEE IF I FIND ANY OTHER TENSIONS. BY RELIEVING THESE I CAN SOMETIMES LOOSEN UP THE MAIN LOCATIONS.”

Jeespeer feels that I have neck strain. My neck has gotten quite the beating from this week’s training. I’m learning to do a handstand and have therefore put all my weight on my head when I practice getting up. Jeespeer can feel how the neck is tense, and the spine is misalignment. By using vibrant massage, acupressure, join mobilizing and releasing techniques, he gently releases the tension.

We also talk about the knee injury in my right knee. The “crunch” when I sit down or squat. My doctor says that you can’t do anything about it. Jeespeer would like to try to work with it and see what he can do. He says that the body can heal itself when it gets the right conditions. This means that when we loosen up the tension in the knee and other places of limited mobility, the body will have the opportunity to regenerating itself. Everywhere.

Getting a body SDS treatment is a very different feeling. All the tremors and “crack” (Jeesper call it pulses and joint movements with liberating effect) in for example my neck feels a little different than what I’ve experienced before. It can not be compared to massage or anything else I’ve tried to explain it – and the feeling afterwards is just amazing. My body feels completely relaxed again.

Feeling completely relaxed after body SDS

My treatment was a days ago. The treatment loosened up my body all over. I felt really well during the days after. Tensions are gone and my neck feels fine again. It’s nice because I have of course been a little too energetic while standing on my head. My knee still works and ‘crunches’ a bit. I can feel a small improvement, but just have to avoid straining it now. The doctor’s opinion is indeed that there’s nothing to do, but I think that the treatments will help me over time if I just stick with it.

“IT’S HARD TO ASSESS HOW MANY TREATMENTS NEEDS TO BE DONE TO REPAIR NADIAS KNEES AS WE ALL ARE DIFFERENT. IT MAY BE COMBINED WITH ANY MORE THINGS. IT’D ALSO BE GREAT TO COMBINE IT WITH LIFEWAVE PATCHES AND GOOD FOOD FOR EXAMPLE.

Combine body SDS and LifeWave and make a greater impact

Jeespeer also combines treatments with LifeWave when people eg. have acute problems like neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain. If you have acute pain, LifeWave patches can reduce inflammation and boost the flow and cleansing of the body. I am already using the patches to purge the body (detox).

“IT WAS CLEAR THAT THE NECK PROBLEMS CAME OUT OF THE BLUE. IN RELATION TO THE KNEE THERE IS A NEED FOR LONG-TERM TREATMENT COMBINED WITH PATCHES OF LIFE WAVE ETC. WE STARTED WITH A DETOX WITH PATCHES. THEN WE MIGHT USE OTHER PROTOCOLS IN LIFEWAVE IN COMBINATION WITH TREATMENTS.

Body SDS can give you energy during the day

If you haven’t tried the body SDS treatment before, then consider the next time you have body aches or need more energy during the day. Body SDS is indeed helping loosen up all the tension we have in everyday life, because we are tired, sleep badly, and we use the body incorrectly and too little. According to Jeespeer, all our emotions like anger and concerns manifest themselves as tension in the body. This is also something that the treatments can loosen up.

“A LOT OF PEOPLE ENJOY THE TREATMENTS AND GET A LOT MORE ENERGY IN LIFE. MOST PEOPLE FEEL LIKE THE TREATMENTS GIVE MORE ENERGY AND BETTER RESULTS DURING HECTIC DAYS.”

– JEESPEER DALGAARD BODYCHECK

If you work out as much as I do, you should probably go to such a treatment a few times a month in my opinion. It really loosens up all the injuries and tension you get. Right now I am looking forward to the next treatment!

“IT IS VERY INDIVIDUAL HOW MANY BODY SDS TREATMENTS PEOPLE NEED. SOME PEOPLE RECOVER FASTER THAN OTHERS. I ALWAYS TRY TO ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE RANGE IN ORDER TO KEEP BOTH RESULTS AND ECONOMY IN MIND.”
